About
Scott Ritchie is an organizer and activist in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, as well as a professor at Kennesaw State University. Scott’s work uses critical literacy to engage in a dialectical and historical materialist analysis of imperialist ideology, particularly in U.S. primary and secondary schools. Scott’s work also explores the relationship between political economy and oppression around gender, race, and ability. An avid book collector and tsundoku practitioner, Scott spends time working with anti-imperialist organizations, jogging very slowly through the streets of Atlanta, practicing yoga, volunteering in the AA recovery community, and being human to two cats.
